Who We Are
Black Squirrel Entertainment is a student-run broadcast media organization at Kent State University. We feature weekly television shows showcasing student talent and creativity.
BSE was established in Fall 2024 as a rebrand of the entertainment wing of TV2, Kent State’s former student-run television station.
Kent State has a rich history of student-produced entertainment television, going back over 50 years. TV2 was introduced in 1968 as a closed-circuit channel broadcasting entertainment to the campus dorms but also including educational content created by students.
Our current television shows are The Blurb, All Systems Go!, The College Voice, Grab Bag, and kentcore, but we have had many others that are available to watch on-demand here on our website.
