Cohlman Arthur

Audio & Entertainment Director

Cohlman is a Junior Digital Media Production Major and the Audio & Entertainment Director for Black Squirrel Entertainment - he oversees all operations in the organization and helps to increase outreach to other orgs and the community. As the head of an entertainment outlet, Cohlman enjoys many forms of entertainment including music, tv, movies, games, and many more!

Jillian Arthur

TV Executive Producer

Jillian Arthur is a junior majoring in Digital Media Production and currently serves as the TV Executive Producer for BSE. She began her BSE journey as a cast member on Grab Bag and is now a showrunner. Outside of the studio, Jillian enjoys playing games on her Switch, crocheting stuffed animals, and spending time with friends. She is excited to take on this new role and looks forward to all the opportunities the semester will bring.

Lazuli Rogers

Web Manager

Lazuli "Laz" Rogers is a senior Computer Science major, minoring in Japanese. He has been a member of BSE since Spring 2024, when he joined the cast of All Systems Go! He inherited the management of this website from Darien Yoder, so he can have whatever font he wants in his bio. When he's not doing work for school or BSE, he can be typically be found playing video games or programming whatever side project he's currently hyperfocusing on.

Isa Eldridge

Music Director

Isa Eldridge, a seasoned veteran of Kent State Student Media, currently directs kentcore, the university's only live music show, and serves as Music Director at Black Squirrel Radio, where she works passionately to spotlight and integrate local artists into the station's programming. When she's not in Franklin Hall, you can usually find her at a local show, watching youtube video essays, or spending time with her friends.

Kristina Hess

Programming Director

Kristina is a senior Speech Pathology and Audiology major. This is her fifth semester as a member of BSE and first semester as Programming Director. She enjoys going to coffee shops, listening to music, and spending time with friends. Kristina's responsibilities include managing the on-air radio schedule, planning events, and other general station management.

Gabe Virant

Technical Director

Gabe is a fourth-year student at Black Squirrel Radio, currently serving his third year as a Director. He is a senior Professional Pilot major with an Aviation Weather minor. Gabe brings a rich background in live music production and theater lighting to his role, blending technical expertise with a passion for music. Outside of the studio, you'll find him exploring the great outdoors whether he's camping, hiking, skiing, or rock climbing.

Fisher Brashear

Podcast Manager

Fisher is a Sophomore Digital Media Production major. He has hosted, and edited podcasts through his time at Kent. He is very excited to start his role as Podcast Manager with BSE.
